When we feel blocked, resistant, depressed, anxious, confused, or are straining to be someone else's idea of what we should be, this is reflected in our creative expression and quality of life. We can feel frozen, depressed, anxious, limited, frustrated - in other words, stuck.

Mindfulness Based Creativity Coaching can help you learn to relax, be more aware and present. This relaxation and presence can free blocked energy for authentic, deeply satisfying creative expression and appreciation of daily life. Artistic self expression then becomes an enriching journey of self discovery in which you are more authentically yourself and create naturally from that.

 

What is Mindfulness Based Creativity Coaching?

Creativity Coaching helps you focus on any issues - personal, creative and/or professional – relating to moving your creativity forward. I offer a range of inspiring methods from life coaching, creativity coaching, art teaching, therapeutic art, mindfulness and meditation. This means that at times we might use coaching methods, and at other times teaching or meditation methods may be more beneficial. You set the agenda, and I non-judgementally support you in your journey. Depending on your interests and needs, we can work at both deeply personal levels and also at very practical, nuts and bolts levels – they are not mutually exclusive and are often both needed!

 

Who is Mindfulness Based Creativity Coaching for?

Anyone! You may be at the starting post just wanting to start becoming more creative.....

Or be picking up an interest you put down many years ago....

Or be wanting to express yourself but don't know how.....

Or you could be a creative professional wanting to move on to the next stage of your business or creative development.

 

What Happens?

You set the agenda, we clarify what's going on, where you'd like to go and what would help you get there. Together we embark on a journey in which I support you in moving towards where you would like to be. Depending on your inclination, we fluidly and intuitively work with a range of inspiring methods from Life Coaching, Creativity Coaching, Art Teaching, Therapeutic Art, Mindfulness and Meditation. This means that at times we might use coaching methods, and at other times more formal teaching, mindfulness or meditation methods may be more beneficial. Insights fostered through mindful creative artistic practice can be transferred to any other area of personal life and work.

How long are sessions and where?

Session length varies, depending on what you need.

Creativity Coaching sessions can be daytime, evening or weekends.

Your sessions can be in person, by phone, email or Skype.

I also offer Creativity Coaching intensives One-to-One in person as a retreat or break for as many days as you need.

 

How long will I need creativity coaching for?

This depends what your needs and issues are and what would most benefit you. This could be anything from one session to several months or longer. During our initial session we would agree on what feel happy to commit to initially, along with how and when we would review how things are going for you.
